1968 Valley Farms was born from motherhood and a deep respect for tradition. While 1968 is not the year our farm was established, it marks the year my father was born, the man who has dedicated his life to preserving our family farm and the legacy that comes with it.

My grandfather was born and raised on the very same land my children now run and play on. My grandmother tended her gardens and prepared homemade meals, while my grandfather cared for the animals and worked the crops. The rhythm of the farm was simple, steady, and rooted in hard work.

My sister and I spent our childhood immersed in that rhythm until 2006, when our family moved to Spruce Grove. Even then, the farm remained central to our lives. My parents worked full time in the city and spent evenings and weekends at the farm helping my grandparents maintain the cattle and crops. In 2021, my parents built in the farmyard, beginning a new chapter of thoughtfully restoring and stewarding the land for the next generation. Growing up, the farm often felt like long days and hard labour.

Today, our vision is different. We are creating a life where the farm is not only work but a place to slow down, gather, find balance, and appreciate the generational blessing we have been given.

As a farm mama, I became increasingly aware of how many products marketed to families contain unnecessary and harmful ingredients. I wanted something better for my children. Using pure suet fat from our own generational beef, I began carefully rendering and handcrafting small batch, whipped tallow balms to nourish their delicate skin.

What started in my kitchen has grown into a deeper mission to provide families with natural, deeply nourishing skincare made with integrity and intention. Every jar is rooted in tradition, simplicity, and love, crafted on the same land that has sustained our family for generations.
